Mental health is the ability to deal with our problems. I bring over 30 years expertise and specialized training to help you deal with most of life's challenges and relationships. I teach clients to effect change in anxiety, interpersonal relationships, loss, illness, abuse issues, shyness, family conflicts, intimacy and sexual issues and self confidence. I treat addictions which I see as unwanted or compulsive behaviors. I work with both individuals and couples with relationship and sexual issues and adults/parents with family issues. As I age myself l like to work with aging related issues, including sexual and adult children.
I give couples and individuals tools to become more emotionally connected, resolve sexual issues and rebuild their relationship after an infidelity. I work with trauma and self esteem and family issues.. I offer a new, brief and effective treatment for addictions and unwanted behaviors including sex addictions.
My counseling approach comes from many different modalities [psycho-dynamic, relational psychology, Adlerian, EMDR. A new treatment [Feeling State Addiction Protocol] can eliminate addictions or compulsive behaviors. including sex addictions. Trauma, pain or fear can be resolved without reliving the painful past using EMDR and related techniques.
