Making the decision to begin counseling requires both courage and commitment. You have already made the first step on this journey by starting your search. I am an experienced psychotherapist, and certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) provider confident in offering in-person and online counselling services in English, French, Serbian, Bosnian, and Croatian. I work with youth (16+) and adults in all stages of life. I strive to help my clients achieve their goals, gain a different perspective, and learn new skills and effective ways of dealing with challenges.
My counseling approach draws from several therapies, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Narrative Therapy, and EMDR. Certified training in EMDR therapy enables me to help my clients to process their: past traumatic experiences; present triggers and nightmares; and future concerns.
