I’ll work with you to understand your story, your current challenges and what you’re seeking to change. I am best at motivating and providing tools for individuals who want to better their lives. With an in-depth knowledge of human behaviour I can help identify issues, barriers and limitations getting in the way of individuals finding their life’s purpose and self actualisation.

The name of my business, Thinking Outside The Box (TOTB) says everything about my beliefs and my business. When we Think Outside The Box, our worlds become bigger. Mental ill health or mental distress causes us to focus inwards and our lives become smaller. We stop doing things because the work that goes into managing a distressing situation is exhausting. As a registered counsellor with the Australian Counselling Association, Bahar is deeply committed to facilitating transformative journeys toward mental well-being. With over a decade of experience in the field of mental health, Bahar has had the privilege of working with individuals of all ages facing a diverse range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, school refusal, parental separation, grief & loss, trauma, peer/relationship issues, bullying, social skills difficulties, among others.

Growing up, I was always an empathetic person who really valued relationships and loved helping people. My desire to understand human behaviour through life experiences and providing guidance to resolve problems, has drawn me to the profession of counselling. I am privileged to work with children of all ages, through to adults, facing different challenges in life. I believe in making a strong rapport with my clients and helping them towards a better tomorrow.
