Maria has experience working as a counsellor/psychotherapist, and also as a non-counsellor, with client from a broad range of backgrounds and cultures in the corporate, academic, psychiatric, and not-for-profit sector. She believes the foundation for a good therapeutic relationship is based on empathy and respect, and she relates to her clients in a non-judgmental, supportive, positive, and creative way. Maria works with individuals, is fluent in Swedish, and has an extensive interest in cultural diversity, transnational counselling ,and reducing stigma around mental illness.

My name is Mayna Hung, I am a person-centered therapist specialising in working with the adult population on a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, work-related stress, family conflicts and relationship problems. As a proud Chinese Queer woman, I am also passionate about working with diverse sexuality, sex and gender communities. I provide my empathy, understanding, and support to CALD individuals who are navigating multiple identities and ensure they can live their authentic lives.

I am a warm and down-to-earth Clinical Psychologist. From the outset, I value the importance of developing a safe, therapeutic relationship, holding space for a person to explore their inner and external worlds. I have a particular interest in supporting people with chronic health conditions (e.g., chronic pain, cancer, autoimmune, hormonal conditions), anxiety, depression, stress/burnout, life transitions, relationship difficulties, and people navigating the perinatal period (fertility concerns/pregnancy/postpartum). Individual telehealth sessions and online groups currently available (Meditation group and Mothers Nurture Circle).

Leonie has lived in the local area her whole life and has been practicing in Matraville for over 20 years. Leonie holds a Masters Degree in Psychology from Sydney University, is AHPRA, NDIS and SIRA accredited. Through her career Leonie has assisted patients of virtually every cultural background and believes the diversity of her patients has led to her skill and strength as a practitioner.

Eleonora is a warm and down-to-earth Psychologist and provides online individual therapy for adults. Special interest areas include Depression and Anxiety, both situational and long-standing. Attachment and relationship issues. Interpersonal difficulties. Existential dilemmas, self-reflection and personal growth. Life transitions and adjustment. Self-worth & self-esteem issues. Identity and personality issues. Assertiveness issues. Excessive guilt. Perfectionism and unrelenting standards. Stress and burn-out. Consultations can be conducted in English or Italian (or blended, if easier).

Inner Strength Therapy offers counselling in Sydney for trauma and anxiety to individuals and couples who are finding life challenging and stressful due to adverse past trauma. Raelene is a Clinical Psychologist with over 28 years of experience in helping adults with a wide range of psychological presentations including trauma, anxiety and mood disorders, emotional dysregulation, adjustment issues, alcohol and drug addiction, relationship challenges, workplace stress/burnout and personality disorders. She has worked in a range of areas including community mental health, private practice and organisational settings.
