Mutual respect is one of the qualities I regard as an important element of the therapeutic relationship. I enjoy working with adults (men and woman) from any cultural background. Languages I am proficient in includes Afrikaans and English. We all experience challenges through our life’s journey and sometimes they become obstacles that are seemingly unbearable or impossible to overcome. Especially when the issue(s) are not concrete and difficult to articulate. Together we can evaluate and identify them, in order to address and find a process suitable to alleviate the hurt and suffering.
I am enthusiastic about men’s and woman’s issues, addiction, and marital and premarital challenges. I use a range of therapeutic approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy, psycho-dynamic theory and developmental theory. A collaborative effort between us will determine the duration of therapeutic relationship. I also offer after hours therapy sessions.
