Haverhill Pavilion Behavioral Health Hospital, located in Haverhill, Massachusetts, is a leading provider of inpatient mental health and dual diagnosis treatment for adults age 19 and older. At our hospital, we are equipped to care for the diverse needs of adults who are struggling with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), self-harming behaviors, suicidal ideation, and schizophrenia. Additionally, we provide treatment for people who have co-occurring addictions to alcohol, opioids, and benzodiazepines. Adults in our inpatient dual diagnosis program typically stay at our hospital for five to seven days. During this time, they can take part in therapeutic programming and work with a team of compassionate behavioral health professionals in a safe and secure environment. The services we offer may include basic medical care, daily medication management, detox services, and individual, family, and group therapies. Treatment Approach
At Haverhill Pavilion, we offer on-site detox services for adults who have a primary mental health condition and a co-occurring substance use disorder. For many people, detox is a necessary first step in the treatment process and allows patients to eliminate substances from their bodies safely and effectively. Our team of qualified medical staff includes nurses, psychiatrists, and nurse practitioners. These professionals oversee the detox process and are available 24/7 if any medical needs arise during your time with us. Depending on your unique needs and treatment plan, you may receive medication to aid in the detox process. At Haverhill Pavilion, we offer Ativan, Serax, Librium, and Suboxone for patients who need them. These medications work by blocking drug cravings and minimizing the uncomfortable effects that can accompany withdrawal. Our spacious, state-of-the-art inpatient behavioral health hospital has 71 beds divided amongst three age-specific units. We have a secure courtyard where patients can enjoy fresh air and participate in group therapy sessions with their peers.
