I am Clinical Therapist with over 10 years of experience working primarily with children, teens, and young adults. I use various play techniques and engaging activities to learn about the areas of need a child may have and what kinds of behaviors those needs have impacted. I am happy to work with parents who might be needing guidance or feedback regarding their children's behaviors or mental health needs as well. In addition to working with children, I also see some adolescents and young adults struggling with life changes and other mental health needs.

I hold a M.S. Counseling Psychology with a Concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy as well as a Concentration as a Professional Clinical Counselor. I have a master’s diploma in Intuition Medicine, a system of expanded perception of the world through the development of the human sense of intuition. This includes an integrated study of subtle energy anatomy systems and their connection to the physical anatomical systems.

I am a LCMSW, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CAADC), EMDR Certified and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) offering trauma focus client-centered psychotherapeutic services to our community members. As the founder of ICHANGE, a non-profit public charity that has serviced Lansing's residents for 1 0 years. With ICHANGE "fit" is really important and not every therapist-client combination is right. Therefore, if we are not a good fit, ICHANGE will not take it personally. We will do all we can to align you with a therapist that fits with your needs.

My personal theoretical foundation is not limited to one approach. I believe it is necessary for counselors to be adaptive. Every client is different and our responses and approaches should be equally diverse. One person may need a cognitive behavioral approach whereas another would be more responsive to brief counseling. This eclectic approach will be applied to all clients. Techniques will vary between clients to best meet the individual client's needs.

I am very passionate about helping others discover their potential and life purpose. In my private practice I prefer to use a Holistic approach to counseling while blending Trauma Focused Care with Client centered needs.
