No one escapes the challenges of the human experience, we all just need the tools to learn to heal! I specialize in trauma (PTSD) and offer Brainspotting Therapy. Brainspotting is a psychotherapy tool that utilizes less thought-based talk therapy and more focused mindfulness on your somatic (body) experience - the window into our natural healing process. Research shows Brainspotting can lessen symptom burden in one session. It’s highly effective for trauma, anxiety, anger, performance and creative blocks, or sports enhancement.
The brain and body have the capacity to heal together when we allow it the attention it needs! I have worked in the mental health field since 2014 and have over 77 hours of specialized trauma training to support this framework. I love being engaged in the healing process!
Our therapeutic relationship is top priority to create trust and safety, ultimately promoting healing. I can integrate directive play therapy into sessions for children, as well as cognitive behavioral modalities for adults.
