No one escapes the challenges of the human experience, we all just need the tools to learn to heal! I specialize in trauma (PTSD) and offer Brainspotting Therapy. Brainspotting is a psychotherapy tool different from the usual thought-based talk therapy model. It utilizes focused mindfulness to release emotions through somatic (body) experience - the window into our natural healing process. Research shows Brainspotting can lessen emotional burden in one to a few sessions. It’s highly effective for trauma, anxiety, anger, performance and creative blocks, or sports enhancement.
The brain and body have the capacity to heal together when we allow it the attention it needs! I have worked in the mental health field since 2014 and have over 80 hours of specialized trauma training to support this framework. I love being engaged in the healing process!
