I'm a trauma-informed therapist and a Certified Anxiety-Informed Professional (CAIP) providing both secular and Christian counseling. My focus areas include helping individuals heal from narcissistic abuse and gaslighting, as well as offering therapy to parents of children with developmental disorders and intellectual disabilities, among others. Recognizing the uniqueness of each person's struggle, I prioritize collaboration and customize evidence-based approaches to align with your specific needs. With over 30 years of experience working with individuals, families and couples I have developed my own unique approach to therapy. Participating in the transformations of people's lives for 41 years has brought experience with adults and older adolescents struggling with a variety of challenges. Issues with Trauma/PTSD, Anxiety, Depression, Grief, Relationships, Substance Abuse, Addictions, Abuse/Violence, Anger, Divorce and Co-parenting are specialties. Welcome. Unfortunately, we are not often taught how to process emotions healthily, nor are we given the skills to help facilitate this. My unique approach includes cognitive-behavioral therapy and providing actionable skills that clients can use right away. Paired with my strength-based expertise in working with teens and adults, I feel I have a unique approach that helps clients identify and build on their strengths, clarify their purpose if so desired, and then work to build a skill set that allows them to handle challenges that come their way. Thus, allowing for reduced stress, improved relationships, and a more fulfilled life.

My passion is in helping Children, Adolescents, Adults, and Families who feel stuck, overwhelmed, and/or unsure of how to work through the challenges they are facing. Each age group requires a different way to connect and build trust. Everyone has pain and deserves a space to be seen, understood, and supported (even the little ones!). I specialize in helping clients of all ages work through trauma, anxiety, depression, identity exploration, attention and behavioral concerns, attachment issues, and mood dysregulation (ie ups and downs).
