Feeling overwhelmed? Want to make changes but not sure where to start? Do things feel out of control? Finding a good fit with a therapist can play a vital role in getting more of what you want in life. I see myself as someone who guides and facilitates a committed, compassionate and confidential space where we can clarify what is most important to you, and discover the blocks that get in the way of having the life that you want. I am licensed in Louisiana as well as a telehealth provider in Florida

Let's work together to restore safety, understanding, and closeness in your relationships.

One seeks out therapy for many reasons. Perhaps you are feeling immobilized, noticing self-defeating patterns of behavior, experiencing repetitive thoughts, or are anxious about life transitions. Together in psychotherapy we will work on understanding your patterns, their unconscious reasons, and how they might be shaping your current life. Once it is given expression, life can take on a healthier form and lead to more security and fulfillment. My practice is psychodynamically oriented this means insight-based talk therapy. Though I incorporate other approaches such as attachment theory, art therapy, and somatic body awareness.

I will work with you to bring awareness and insight to your behaviors, environments, impairments, and strengths. This awareness can pave the way for understanding the underlying motives behind your behaviors, as well as reasons for discomfort or pain, so that you can make the necessary changes. Together we’ll create a safe space to process, build insight, and discover new skills. I received my Bachelor of Arts in psychology at UCLA and my Master of Arts in social work at California State University at Northridge. I have practiced in CA, LA and MS in community-based mental health, hospital and in private practice settings.
