She is committed to helping individuals, couples, and families address the challenges and issues they are faced with so they can lead more healthy and balanced lives. Katrina specializes in anxiety, grief, depression, relationship issues, and alcohol/substance abuse. Katrina is a National Certified Counselor and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She completed her Master of Arts in Counseling at the University of Alabama-Birmingham.

She also has experience in helping families work through conflicts and build a more effective communication style to create a healthier and safer environment. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at The University of Alabama, where she also received her Masters in Social Work.

I truly believe everyone should have access to counseling no matter where you are. However, coming from a rural town in Alabama with limited resources, I have realized that many people suffer in silence due to fear of the stigma associated with traditional counseling or simply because there are not any counselors available within driving distance. For these reasons I am very passionate about offering flexible treatment options which include traditional sessions and virtual sessions. I counsel individuals, families, couples and groups.
