Ms. Welch is a New York State licensed mental health counselor who treats children, adolescents, adults and families. She received her master's in mental health counseling from Marist College. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR). She has experience working with anxiety disorders, mood disorders, behavioral issues, trauma, family relational issues, and partner relational issues. She works in the Carmel and Millbrook offices.

Claudia Mitchell-Gambino, LMHC, NCC is a New York State licensed mental health counselor and board certified by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC). She has worked with individuals ranging in age from 18 "“ 75+ suffering from severe mental illness, as well as children and adolescents with emotional & behavioral issues. Areas of interest include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, substance use and trauma & stress disorders.

Maydeline Morales is a bi-lingual, Spanish speaking, New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor and NYS Certified School Psychologist. Maydeline has experience working with children, adolescents, teenagers, adults, families and couples in individual and group settings. She specializes in various treatment approaches including play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy and Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR).

Ms. Zayani is a NYS licensed social worker with over 25 years experience specializing in the treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. Ms. Zayani is a certified clinical trauma professional and has certifications in a variety of evidenced based treatments including play therapy, DBT, and CBT. She employs a broad range of interventions, based upon clinical presentation, and works in our Carmel and Millbrook locations.

Kathy Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York who has been practicing since 1995. It can be difficult to reach out for help. With Kathy, you can expect a warm, welcoming place to freely express yourself. Together you will address the issues you identify as problematic, build on your strengths and work on changes you would like to make. Together you and Kathy will set goals for treatment and work towards achieving them. In her free time, Kathy enjoys arts and crafts, outdoor activities, and family time.

For over 30 years as a licensed clinical social worker, I have worked with individuals, couples, adolescents and children. I have a family systems approach to seeing each person as a part of a whole dynamic unit. This is especially valuable in working with couples. Turhan Moody is very excited to be joining LifeStance Health. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and graduate of Mercy College. Given his experience working in an Article 31 Clinic, he has provided therapeutic services to individuals with variety of mental health conditions ranging from 14 through geriatric. His treatment approaches include CBT and behavioral modification to help clients reach their goals. He also enjoys reading, creative writing long walks.

Anne Whitton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in New York who has been practicing since 1991. She has an Undergraduate degree in Human Services from University of Bridgeport, and a Master's degree in Social Work from SUNY Stonybrook. Anne promotes the connection with body, mind, and spirit. In her practice, she addresses issues of vulnerability, trust and healing, positive self-esteem, as well spirituality, and self-worthiness. Outside of work, Anne enjoys outdoor activities as well as time with family.

Dr. Jacquelyn Elbel is a licensed Psychologist in New York who has been practicing since 1988. She holds a Master's and a Doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of North Texas. Dr. Elbel is easy to talk to "“ she listens well and opens the space for clients to explore their situation and issues. She is able to build relationships quickly with empathy, affirmation, and unconditional, nonjudgmental support. Dr. Elbel is able to EITHER allow the client space to process their own emotions and consider options OR help identify areas of concern and provide resources and direction.

Jennifer Mott is a New York State Licensed Mental Health Counselor. Jennifer graduated with her undergraduate degree from Nazareth College and then continued on to get her master's degree from SUNY Oswego in Mental Health Counseling. Before coming to LifeStance Health, Jennifer worked with both children and adults in various matters surrounding the foster care system. Jennifer uses a person-centered approach while incorporating various techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy. Jennifer works in both the Millbrook and Yorktown Heights offices.

Stephen Kahn is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York. He has an EdM/MA Counseling/Clinical Psychology from Columbia University and a BA in Psychology from American University. Stephen has been practicing in various areas of Mental Health and Psychiatry for over 35 years. He has treated patients who have suffered from Addiction to Bipolar Disorders and Anxiety and Depression to even more serious clinical issues. Stephen treats his patients with dignity and respect and each of them as individuals as he tries to meet each of their needs using therapeutic techniques and processes with which they are comfortable.

Dr. Eggleston is a New York State licensed clinical psychologist with a doctorate from Fordham University and a completed Resident Internship at Bellevue Hospital/NYU School of Medicine. He has over fifteen years of clinical experience working at places such as Columbia University, New York Presbyterian Hospital, Vassar College, and the Karen Horney Institute. He has expertise treating children, adolescents and adults. Dr. Eggleston has extensive training working with mood and anxiety disorders, substance use, spiritual/existential issues, relationship/family dynamics, severe and persistent mental illness, and LGBT-related issues.
