Hello! I'm Brianna, a Licensed Master Social Worker. I am an Adelphi University graduate receiving my BSW in 2018 and my MSW in 2019. I have experience working in schools, non-profits, and medical settings. I spent two years working as an in-home therapist servicing youth with severe emotional and behavioral disturbances and now currently work full-time in the field of substance use. I’ve worked with many different populations including ages ranging from adolescents to geriatrics, LGBTQ+, family caregivers, substance abuse, and victims of domestic violence & sexual assault, just to name a few.

My area of special interest is working with tweens/adolescents, young adults and families dealing with anxiety, ADHD, personality disorders, self esteem issues, peer relationships, and divorce. I believe it is vital to create a safe space and assist clients to make positive decisions that will allow for gratifying experiences and healthy relationship connections. Together, as a team, I work with my clients to set goals, work on skills and discover a plan that is specifically designed to meet their needs.

We take the greatest pride in ensuring that no individual is left without access to care by always responding to new patient inquiries immediately and accommodating the financial needs of our clients.  The well-being of our clients and the individuals of the communities we serve are our top priority.  No person should have to be without a supportive professional when they find themselves in a situation where reaching out for help is of the utmost importance.

Music therapy is a collaborative partnership in the creative process to discover how music can foster growth. Clients who seek to explore themselves through individualized music experiences are welcome to open a dialogue into whether music therapy is the right modality for them. Music therapy can address a wide variety of clinical domains. I strive to identify, develop, and adapt treatment plans based on the individual strengths and needs of each client based on the current research literature. Each goal area is treated through how clients engage, adapt, and initiate novel music experiences.

My approach is to work collaboratively with my clients, creating positive change in a non judgmental environment. This approach will allow me to teach you new effective ways of dealing with life's challenges while counseling clients in a clean, comfortable, caring, and supportive atmosphere

Hello and thank you for visiting my page. I am a graduate of the Clinical Psychology program at Hofstra University. I have also completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine specializing in the assessment and treatment of severe problem behavior with individuals with developmental disabilities. I am centrally located in Hauppauge, NY. I provide assessment and therapy for individuals with anxiety disorders, depression, and developmental disabilities. My goal is to provide a comprehensive treatment package to fit the needs and aspirations of those I work with.
