I see kids ages 6-16 for the evaluation of emotional, behavioral, and cognitive symptoms. Treatment recommendations and referrals are provided. The report I write about your child can be used to advocate for their needs in school, including gifted education, IEPs for kids with learning disabilities, or 504 plans for ADHD, for example.

As part of a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, my service includes evaluation of multiple cognitive domains including memory, problem solving/reasoning, visual-spatial processing, language, basic motor skills, emotional status, and assessment of attention and academic functioning (ADHD, LD), as indicated. Findings from the neuropsychological evaluation are used to generate recommendations to assist in treatment planning across a variety of settings as well as suggesting compensatory strategies for any identified cognitive weaknesses and identifying resources for families. I offer timely and thorough evaluations, conduct individualized feedback with families, and provide a summary of the findings and recommendations.

Dr. Kaufman provides evidence-based evaluation services for children, adolescents, and adults, including comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, ADHD testing, and forensic assessment. He also offers individual and family psychotherapy, specialized behavioral therapy for ADHD, and organization/executive skills training. Dr. Kaufman enjoys teaching and speaking engagements, and is currently an Associate Professor of Psychology at Saint Louis University, where he is active in teaching, clinical training, and research.

Dr. Debra Zand, founder and co-owner of Midwest Psychological Services LLC, is a clinical psychologist with 20+ years of experience working with children and their families. She has particular expertise in conducting comprehensive psychological testing, as well as individual and family therapies. Dr. Zand uses an integrative, playful approach to conducting therapy She routinely see families to address: adoption issues, attachment, developmental trauma, anxiety, depression, parent-child relationship struggles, self-regulation difficulties, communication struggles, divorce, and remarriage.

Dr. Marks is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Missouri. She primarily provides evaluation and therapy for adhd, anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and interpersonal issues.
