My purpose is to give you the most individualized treatment by meeting you where you are, while assisting you to make changes that matter most to you. I believe therapy is a place for you to gain a better understanding of yourself, learn practical skills for daily living, better utilize strengths you already possess and challenge negative ways of thinking that are keeping you stuck in old cycles. I promise to be transparent throughout each part of the process, and utilize my curiosity to learn from your unique experiences while being supportive of your individual needs and desires.
My experience includes working with families, individuals and couples through a variety of different challenges such as behavioral issues, substance use, domestic violence and effects of trauma. I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach pulling strategies mainly from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Motivation Interviewing.
