Clients of all ages beginning at age 4 thru adult enjoy the personal experience of working in a customized cognitive exercise program with a personal brain trainer to experience gains in cognitive function whether it has been lost due to dementia, TBI, learning disabilities, disease, cancer treatments or simply aging. Some clients attend our center weekly just for a tune up to stay sharp and focused. Whatever the need in cognitive function, we will customize a program for you or refer you to a valid resource in our community.

Life provides experiences that can be challenging and difficult to overcome. Sometimes these difficulties present in feelings of sadness, grief, worry, or relationship problems. Despite the problem there is hope to be able understand how these experiences can shape us to be stronger and better ready to handle life, so that we can live it to our fullest potential.

My ideal client is seeking increased freedom to remove barriers to growth, and to work toward meeting self-identified goals while building on current strengths. Whether struggling with worrisome anxiety, feelings too depressed to enjoy, or behaving in ways that the client wants to change, I tend to take a person-centered, supportive approach to helping. Clients benefit from solution-focused approaches while increasing self-awareness to identify and use strengths, for greater ease of handling life's ups and downs, using clear, simple self-management tools and effective coping.
