I have worked in addiction recovery and the mental health field for almost a decade. This includes working with domestic violence, women’s/masculinity issues, depressive/anxious disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, and substance misuse. I have a 100% online professional counseling service, using video conferencing. I work with clients ages 12 and and a wide variety of issues, I particularly enjoy working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, stress, anger, and adjustment issues. I am eclectic and holistic in my approach to therapy, drawing from various systems of therapy to meet the individual needs of the client, and encompassing care of the body, mind, and spirit. While I do not impose my beliefs on clients, I am a Christian and willingly deal with spiritual matters that clients may bring to counseling.

Therapy can assist in making hope and healing an attainable goal. I work with individuals and families coping with depression, self esteem, anxiety, behavior problems, relationship issues, adoption, grief, domestic violence, and multicultural issues to help them them in their healing journey, teaching them to refocus on the things that bring true joy. I believe that when clients learn to refocus their thoughts and make key behavioral changes, they are often able to find peace and wellness. A Christ centered approach is offered and discussions of faith are welcome while not mandatory. Client's views are respected and honored.

Terry Samuels earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice in December 1994 from Armstrong Atlantic University. Terry obtained his Master of Public Administration degree in December 1996 from Georgia State University. Terry obtained his Master of Professional Counseling degree in December 2015 from Grand Canyon University. Terry completed a 10-month internship at Intown Psychological Associates and completed the hours required for his associate license. Terry is a fully licensed therapist in the state of Georgia (LPC011391). Terry obtained his doctorate in psychology from Grand Canyon University in November of 2023.

Glen is a life-long Cobb County resident, currently living in Acworth with his wife, teenage son and daughter.
