I have an extensive background in supporting individuals and their family system as they navigate issues that fuel addiction and process addictions. I am specifically trained in Eating Disorder and Body Image treatment. I have also completed training to become a trauma specialist, as it is very rare to encounter a person struggling with addiction or an eating disorder without a history of trauma. Additionally, long history of helping family members working on issues of co-dependency and boundaries in an effort to restore healthy, loving relationships. I believe very firmly that families need to heal together!

I am a native Floridian and have been working in the mental health field in Palm Beach county since 1995. I specialize in creating a safe and comfortable space to share your thoughts and feelings and support you through whatever challenges you may be facing in your particular time of life and circumstances. I believe that when a safe, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship is established between patient and clinician, the impossible can become possible. Rachael has 7 years of experience in the mental health field. She completed her Master of Social Work (MSW) at Barry University.

I use an individualized treatment approach and incorporate both traditional and nontraditional techniques into my therapeutic modalities. I moved to South Florida in 2019 from Philadelphia where I practiced psychology since 1986. I have been in private practice for 35 years providing counseling and hypnotherapy to individuals and couples. I was the Director of Pain Psychology at a major teaching hospital for seven years and I have held multiple clinical appointments at numerous hospitals. I am a licensed clinical psychologist in Florida. I specialize in treating trauma survivors and people with anxiety, depression, grief, and chronic pain. Most recently I joined the wonderful group at Delray Beach Psychiatry and Boca Raton Psychiatry alongside multiple psychiatrists.

My passion lies in working with individuals, couples and families that are dealing with life's transitions or facing significant challenges or adjustments. My professional experience allows me to see things from an open and solution focused perspective. I believe the therapeutic process provides a great opportunity for the individual to get to know himself as well as the strengths and answers that lie within and this is what opens up the door to change and evolution. An open and safe therapeutic environment is paramount in my sessions to allow clients to connect and and explore the self without feeling judged.
