I work individuals and couples to help build better relationships and coping strategies for times of conflict and change. Having worked for several years with substance abuse groups along with anger management and family violence intervention, I have helped people of all ages to move beyond the negative self talk and low self esteem in order to be successful and thriving in their personal lives and relationships with others. I also offer EMDR to address trauma. Because I believe there is not a single way to deal with life, I like to meet my clients where they are in their own lives and help them to accomplish their personal goals.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist (Ph.D.), passionate about my work with children/adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am committed to providing multiculturally informed, research-based treatment and psychological assessment. Beyond my extensive specialization and experience, I take a collaborative approach to therapy, working together to meet your unique goals. In addition to my private practice, I am an Adjunct Professor who teaches doctors in the Emory University School of Medicine. Yet, I am most proud and privileged to be part of a loving family- including my wonderful husband and 4 (!) boys.

My name is Tamiko Horne-Williams I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor, National Certified Counselor, Certified Anger Management Specialist, and Prepare-Enrich Certified. I have 5 years of experience as a crisis counselor and 17 plus years of experience working in the mental health field in various entities. Helping others live life to their full potential is my passion and my calling in life. I enjoy being a voice for those trying to find theirs or simply need someone to understand them.

I focus on serving as a counselor for children, adolescents, young adults and families in an effort to assist them with improving their quality of life. I have 11 years of experience working in multiple settings including inpatient and outpatient facilities as well as a community mental health agency.
