There are times in our lives when we struggle to cope with life stressors and transitions. Seeking therapy is an important first step in helping you overcome obstacles and personal challenges. Working with a therapist you trust can help you identify goals, find solutions to problems, improve communication, and develop healthy coping strategies. Achieving and maintaining optimal mental health can lessen emotional turmoil, strengthen self-esteem, and make life more manageable.
I have a nonjudgemental approach to treatment and can assist you in identifying issues and behaviors that stand in your way of feeling well, happy, and capable. During my career I have worked in healthcare settings, detox programs, outpatient mental health and substance use programs, hospice care, community-based treatment programs, and in case management.
My goal is for you to resolve any concerns that stand in the way of your sense of well-being. I will provide you with feedback and structure to help you focus on problem-solving and building resilience. It matters that you have a sense of control and feel empowered.
