I have a waiting list for new clients. Am I the right therapist for you? To make the most progress, it really does require having a good fit with the therapist. I find that I work well with most people. Those who claim they don’t like anyone tend to do well with me. I’m easy-going yet also diligent when it comes to giving my attention to the person in front of me. I make eye contact and I really listen. The most frequent feedback people give me is that I am easy to talk to. People have also told me that they simply feel better after talking to me. My approach is supportive and I strive to make people feel understood.
I deeply believe in the healing power of relationships and recognize it takes time and trust to build genuine ones. I am a solo operation. I don't have any other staff- it's just me. I do all of my own scheduling, billing, and client support. I prefer written communication because I’m frequently directly speaking with someone so I keep my phone ringer off.
