Providing therapy and working to help patients is my lifelong passion. I take a strength based and trauma informed approach while working with patients who have a wide variety of mental health concerns. I believe therapy is a collaborative process and I use an interdisciplinary approach to therapy and tailor it to each client’s unique needs. In practice, I am direct, solution-focused, and passionate in assisting patients in meeting their goals.
My main theoretical approaches include: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Equine Assisted Therapy along with many others. I take a multidimensional and strength based approach in working with patients.
Throughout my career: I have facilitated and co-facilitated: Self-esteem Group (adolescents), Trauma Recovery Group (Adults), Batter’s Treatment Group (Adults), Parent Support Group (Adults), and Support Group for adolescent teens who have been sexually abused.
