As a Marriage & Family Therapist with over 20 years of experience and as a dedicated Christian/Catholic, my therapy addresses the complexity of problems--anxiety, depression and personal issues--in a spiritual context, and in the relationships that we have, here and now. My clients include couples, families and individuals who wish to include their spirituality in therapy. Faith can combine with finding solutions from the sciences and lead to lives lived more abundantly. However, I have years of experience working in a secular, non-religious context. I have enjoyed the last 35 years working with clients of all age groups in a professional capacity in various settings ; hospitals, clinics, schools and private practice.I now integrate expertise, life experience, and training solely to a small private practice in a calm and serene setting. I help clients develop an individualized approach to cope with life situations, and create a path toward emotional health, comfort, and relief . Are you a mom coping with an ill or learning disabled child, or aging parent? An anxious shy teen with peer issues? Individual with relationship issues? You can develop strategies to cope.

Life offers no shortage of interpersonal difficulties. I provide individual, marital and family therapy to address these challenges. My approach begins with a supportive and understanding assessment of the presenting problem and together we develop an individualized treatment plan that addresses you or your family's specific concerns.The first session is intended to create a foundation of trust and discuss the reason you sought treatment. From there sessions, usually about 45-50 minutes in length, map out strategies and review homework assigned to assess the progress of therapy.

I specialize in helping women, veterans, active duty, and adults utilize their personal strengths, and gain positive solutions, resources and coping skills to reach their goals. My work is based on evidenced based theories from CBT, mindfulness, and EMDR, that respect and are tailored to each individual's unique needs and therapy goals. I also have completed the training in Post Partum from Post Partum International. Bariatric evaluations also provided. I have significant experience working with the military.
