Finding life balance and satisfaction can be challenging, but it is possible. I offer a counseling process to help you identify what you most want in your life, what needs to change to get there, and how you can make changes in creative ways.
Working with adults (individuals, couples, groups), my approach can be especially helpful when going through any major life transitions that bring grief and loss -- a death, divorce, addiction, career and role changes, or life-threatening illness. I use Relational, Humanistic, Expressive and Cognitive Behavioral methods, as well as the 12 Steps.
I offer a wide range of techniques individually tailored to help you clarify your needs and priorities. I also teach Mindfulness and Meditation practices for reducing stress and experiencing peacefulness. This peace is possible when we stop being who "we think we should be" and start being "who we are."
