Hello, I am Dr. Shilin Pandya, Board Certified Psychiatrist. I have been helping people just like you for many years. I concentrate on treating the whole patient and not just the symptoms of a problem. This holistic approach takes into account any factors affecting you - culture, job, school, medical issues, family, religion, sleep, appetite, past trauma, etc. Issues that are unique to every human being and require individual attention and treatment. The goal of each visit is to leave you empowered to live a more content life.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. During my residency I served as Chief Resident and was awarded the Overall Excellence in Psychiatry Award as well as the Clinical Excellence Award.

Total Wellness Center is psychiatry and counseling practice that offers treatment both in-person and via Telehealth. With offices in New Jersey and Connecticut, all of our doctors come from Ivy league schools. We offer evening and weekends appointments and accept major insurance plans such as Horizon, Cigna, Aetna and others. My favorite part of being a psychiatric nurse practitioner is tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs, and watching each person grow and heal. I am board-certified in both adult and child/adolescent psychiatry, and do my best work with adolescent clients, and their families. I am intensively trained in DBT, and its principles inform my practice, even when the full model is not applied. I am also trained in medical acupuncture, and have practiced martial arts and meditative systems for over two decades. By virtue of this unique training, I am dedicated to an integrative approach which both addresses symptoms and problems, while also seeking to maximize the capacity for attaining and sustaining wellbeing. My background includes working with various conditions including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and psychotic disorders. My experience also includes inpatient stabilization and outpatient continued care.

All Services are offered in person and via Tele Health. We are specialized in depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, ADHD, addictions, sexuality, relationships and weight issues. Our psychiatrist combines medication, supplements and bio identical hormones in order to address the symptoms and their origin. We will match you with the best therapeutic approach based on your symptoms, preferences and personality: psychodynamic, cognitive, behavioral, Christian counseling or life coaching. We also offer outpatient detoxification for different drugs of abuse and alcohol, combined with counseling for relapse prevention and coping skills.

Hello, I'm Dani, a Family Nurse Practitioner with certifications in Geriatrics and Counseling. My goal is to ensure that patients have easy and immediate access to healthcare. When requested by my patients, I combine conventional medications with functional and integrative medicine approaches to address concerns like anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I'm passionate about empowering individuals to find their own motivation for a healthy life. In addition to addressing behavioral health, I am capable of treating a wide range of conditions, both acute (skin and respiratory infections) and chronic (pre-diabetes, diabetes, HTN, and pain)
