I am Board-Certified in both Adult and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. I have 25 years experience doing evaluations, psychopharmacology, and/or psychotherapy. I have expertise working with most psychiatric disorders, including ADHD, Depression, Suicide Risk Assessment, Bipolar Disorder, OCD, Panic Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, and Psychosis.

Dr. Dean is a child and adolescent psychiatrist, specializing in a combination of psychotherapy and medication management. Dr. Dean delves deep into the root causes of anxiety and behavioral issues. Dr. Raluca Radulescu, a Board Certified psychiatrist in the area of General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, heads our practice. She completed her training in Child Psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center-Westchester Division. She provides psychiatric services to children, adolescents and adults. We have several licensed clinicians with extensive clinical experience in a variety of settings including hospitals, schools, and private practice working with adults, adolescents, children and families. Here at the Venn Center, we offer patients a unique therapeutic experience. I conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments, as well as provide both individual and group psychotherapy to clients of all ages. I also offer pharmacotherapy and medication management when appropriate. That being said, 25% of my patients are not on any medication since I employ non-medicinal interventions that help remediate psychiatric symptoms whenever possible. Offering these complementary services allows the clients I work with to feel empowered in their desire for change toward a healthier way of being.
