Dr. Tenesa Rivera is a board certified psychiatrist. She obtained her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, completing the Women's Health Education Pathway. She trained in the psychiatry residency program in psychiatry at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Rivera then sub-specialized in the treatment of children through a fellowship at Jefferson University Hospital in child and adolescent psychiatry, where she served as a chief fellow.

Trained at Harvard, Johns Hopkins, and the University of Pennsylvania, I have been in the clinical practice of psychiatry, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology in the Philadelphia area for over forty years, and provide crisis-intervention, consultation and short- and long-term therapy for children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
