Hi there - I'm Dr. Philip Cawkwell, board certified in Adult Psychiatry as well as Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. I trained at the top institutions - NYU for medical school, MGH/McLean Harvard for Adult Residency, and Stanford for Child/Adolescent Fellowship. I am versed in treating first responders and essential workers during the covid-19 pandemic in NYC , as I myself returned to a critical care and bedside role during this time and have a first person understanding of what you may have seen/felt. In tandem with our treatment, I tend to encourage targeted psychotherapy alongside for those patients who do not currently have therapists.
