He has worked in emergency, inpatient, residential, outpatient, intensive outpatient, detoxification, and correctional settings. He completed his residency training at the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine and LAC+USC Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, serving as chief resident in his fourth year.

My approach is to build on a person's strengths and positive aspects of mental health. I believe in collaborating with my clients to determine their goals, both in terms of symptom relief and through self- understanding. I aim to achieve results quickly by giving them the tools they need to deal with life's challenges. In addition to individuals, my practice also provides counseling to couples and families through psychotherapy and medication management, as well as a combination of the two. I believe in a conservative and personalized approach to the use of medication.

I am a psychiatrist with a wide array of interests and skills, including psychedelic medicines such as Ketamine for the use of Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy. I have completed level one training in Internal Family Systems, or IFS. IFS can be done effectively virtually or in person, with or without psychedelic medicine, and eventually, on one's own without the help of a therapist. It is a transformational, deep healing of the wounded/burdened parts of our inner children that affect how we live and relate to the world as adults, often resulting in self-sabotage.

Dr. Alexa Hall was born and raised in New England. She obtained her B.S. in Biology from Providence College and her M.D. from Saint Louis University School of Medicine. She then completed her general psychiatry residency at Harvard South Shore in Massachusetts with clinical training throughout many affiliated hospitals of Harvard Medical School and the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System.

I have practiced psychiatry for over 30 years including 11 years as a professor of psychiatry at Harbor UCLA and 19 years in a NGO based in the Asian community. Working with individuals with wide-ranging diagnoses and very different life journeys, I learned the value of flexibility and use different modes of psychotherapy based on my assessment of the patient's needs. I have a strong psychopharmacology background and prescribe medication when appropriate. I believe in a candid, respectful and collaborative relationship with the patient as well as with his or her family if appropriate, and referring healthcare professional always.

Compassionate and mission-driven, Carolyn is a dual certified MFT and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has a plethora of experience with outpatient psychiatric evaluations, evidence-based psychopharmacology, and collaborative care within multidisciplinary teams. She is committed to providing ethical and competent services to individuals, couples, and families. She is also dedicated to fostering meaningful connections, advocating for patients, and staying up to date with advancements in psychiatric care.

After college, I attended medical school at McGill University. I then completed a residency in Psychiatry at USC and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital of Harvard Medical School. After completing these 10 years of training in 1992, I worked mostly for academic centers. I was faculty in the medical schools of Harvard and Tufts universities, and then returned to California where I was faculty at the University of California and USC for many years. For several years I’ve been Board Certified in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, General Adult Psychiatry, and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry.

I love helping clients live their best lives. My ideal client is willing to work with me to achieve their goals. I specialize in treating various forms of depression, such as unipolar, bipolar, postpartum, etc., and especially treatment-resistant cases. I also treat anxiety disorders, PTSD, and attention disorders such as ADHD. I primarily treat patients in the age range of 18-65.
