I believe that medications should never be the sole mode of treatment for mental health disorders. Counseling should be provided to help individuals learn to manage or minimize their symptoms. Individuals often need to learn new skills, such as anger management or problem solving, to help them interact with others more successfully.

My true passion was always psychiatry and medical school was always just a means to an end for me. After returning to the United States, I spent some time with my family in Tampa, FL and put myself through the tedious licensure process here. Four exams and around a dozen clinical internship experiences later, I found myself finally beginning my post-graduate training in General Adult Psychiatry in Miami, FL.
