Hi. I'm a licensed and board certified psychiatry mental health nurse practitioner based in the state of Maryland. I received my Masters from Walden University and have been practicing for a year now. I help young adult and older adult struggling with mental health overcome and become the best versions of themselves.

I am a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner with 30 years experience in the field. I am a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland Schools of Nursing. I have practiced in inpatient, emergency room, mobile crisis, home care, day hospital, and out patient settings. I am licensed to provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management and psychotherapy to ages 16 and over. I have specialized in geriatric, adult and young adult , substance misuse, mood disorder, anxiety disorder, adoption, grief, gender identity and family crisis. I recently became certified as a psychedelic assisted therapist.

Most of my clinical time is spent in assessing patients, making pharmacologic recommendations in the management of major psychiatric disorders, and providing follow-up medication management. Areas of interest include the management of affective disorders - major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder; anxiety disorders, PTSD and OCD; adult ADHD; the interface of major medical illness and psychiatric response; and a variety of adjustment disorders resulting from lifestyle issues. I also have experience in the management of substance use disorders and am the Medical Director of a nationally acclaimed addiction program in Towson.
