Dr. Takiysha McLeod- Ballard is a practicing psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with over 17 years of experience working with teenagers and adults in the field of mental health. Dr. Ballard is known for her unique approaches to helping clients engage in life challenges, promoting healing through education, and empowering each client to become the best version of themselves.

Lesego Goba, NP, has mental health clinical experience in multiple settings and is Board Certified to serve adolescents and adults who are faced with mental health challenges within the mood-disorder spectrum, particularly Anxiety, Depression and Bipolar disorder.

Alexander Gumbs, FNP/PMHNP-BC is a dual board-certified practitioner in psychiatry and family medicine. Mr. Gumbs uses an integrative holistic approach to treat the bodies and minds of his patients. He is proficient in treating those across the lifespan (children, adolescents, adults, and seniors). Community focus is his passion. He has experience treating disadvantaged populations, such as the homeless and those in the criminal justice system transitioning back to civilian life. Mr. Gumbs treats those with anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, depression, autism, insomnia, dementia, and postpartum depression.

I am a fully licensed psychiatrist serving the NYC community with over 20 years of medical experience. Understanding the uniqueness of each patient’s situation is my main focus. I use my experience and continued learning to provide outstanding medication management therapy to promote healthy living and a better quality of life for all my patients. I stay dedicated to my patients and work in collaboration with them to identify the most effective treatment plan with consultations being catered appropriately to accommodate each individual’s needs and concerns so that they can meet their full potential.

I am a licensed and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Practitioner. I have over 10 years of experience in healthcare, of those 6 plus years are in psychiatric mental health nursing. I have worked with patients of all ages diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, substance abuse disorder as well as anxiety and depression. I provide comprehensive psychiatric care including diagnostic evaluations, medication management and therapy to patients. I completed my Bachelor of Nursing from Purdue University and Masters of Nursing from Eastern Kentucky University from the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner program.
