Your past trauma does not have to define you.
The path to recovery is personal, but you don’t have to do it alone. Helping veterans who are struggling with trauma/PTSD and addictions. Co-occurring PTSD and substance use disorder (SUD) is common in veterans. More than 2 of 10 Veterans with PTSD also have SUD. Almost 1 out of every 3 Veterans seeking treatment for SUD also has PTSD. Evidence shows that treating PTSD and substance use at the same time works to treat both conditions.
