My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and evidence-based practices. My technique is generally grounded in cognitive behavioural and strengths-based theory aimed at empowering individuals while teaching them the skills to achieve lasting change and fulfillment in their lives. However, I also utilise an eclectic approach drawing on multiple theoretical orientations and techniques to adapt and customise treatment to the unique needs of each individual.

With the use of art therapy, we are provided doorways to look more deeply into ourselves and understand how and why we show up in the world. My practice is trauma-informed, with an emphasis on holistic psychology, spiritual and emotional health, and mindfulness. I specialize in supporting children, teens, and emerging adults to explore healing and relief. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression, emotional processing or regulation, we may be a good fit. I also have a special interest in supporting clients who may be dealing with family issues or difficult relationship dynamics. Let's create and transform together.

Now Accepting New Clients. Ashley is a Registered Social Worker with 15 years of experience in the mental health field. She works in a strengths-based approach focusing on social, emotional, physical, and mental wellbeing and wellness, to enhance daily living. Ashley has a strong background of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and is Trauma level one and two certified through the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre. Her extensive training and experience working in the private and public sectors has given her knowledge in working with children, adolescents and adults.

I presently exclusively offer online sessions while working closely with a dedicated team at Strength Counselling Services. My deep-seated passion is rooted in delivering compassionate support and fostering a secure and nurturing space for my clients as they embark on their personal journeys of growth and self-discovery. By prioritizing a client-centered approach, I firmly uphold the belief that individuals possess an inherent wisdom about their own lives. Grounded in this belief, my goal is to guide clients in pursuing their objectives while respecting their distinctive values and autonomy.

Accepting New Clients, Evening Availability - I have over 8 years experience and my areas of expertise include supporting individuals experiencing anxiety & depression, grief/loss, trauma and addictions. For most of my career I've supported adults aged 20-65+ from varying circumstances in gaining a greater understanding and appreciation for themselves. I also support individuals and couples in achieving self-identified goals that lead to the desired outcomes and meaningful change. I have specialized and extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT and have completed Phases 1 & 2 of Brainspotting.
