Reece is an experienced Psychologist who works with people presenting with a wide variety of presenting concerns. He finds meaning in helping people to overcome borderline personality disorder, depression, PTSD, addictions and anxiety. In recent years Reece has turned his attention towards the treatment of treatment resistant depression and treatment resistant PTSD using psychedelic medications. He focuses on these conditions with his work at the mind medicine clinic in Abbotsford, Vic. He is now also the head of training and education at mind medicine Australia.
His experience in DBT has equipped him with skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness which he enjoys teaching and sharing. Reece has a passion for improving people’s lives through a combination of a warm therapeutic approach and evidence-based practice to help them achieve their goals in therapy and life.
Reece believes that the best results are found when people can trust each other and communicate freely. This outcomes-focussed and person-centred approach has led Reece to take a keen interest in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
