Reece is a provisional Psychologist with mental health experience assisting people facing many different challenges in life. While fascinated by psychology and the process of personal growth generally, Reece takes particular interest in the understanding and treatment of borderline personality disorder, depression, PTSD, addictions and anxiety. Reece works with all populations across the lifespan. He has experience as a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) Facilitator, mental health support worker, and as a transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) clinician.
His experience in DBT has equipped him with skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness which he enjoys teaching and sharing. Reece has a passion for improving people’s lives through a combination of a warm therapeutic approach and evidence-based practice to help them achieve their goals in therapy and life.
Reece believes that the best results are found when people can trust each other and communicate freely. This outcomes-focussed and person-centred approach has led Reece to take a keen interest in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
