I am a Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Neuropsychologist. Having practised for almost 20 years across a wide range of settings I have developed skills in many forms of evidence-based assessment and intervention. I’m told that I have a warm, understanding and collaborative style. I aim to provide you with a secure and non-judgemental environment so that you can put aside the worries of the day and enjoy some peaceful focus on yourself. We will work together to decide the goals of therapy and collaborate on a plan to reach them.

I am passionate about assisting clients to understand the reasons behind their presenting issues, and help them develop strategies to manage those issues, so that they are better equipped to handle the various things that life can present. I work with children in the areas of school resistance, social skills, or bullying, as well as parenting strategies. I can assist older teenagers and young adults such issues as sexuality, abuse, difficulty with relationships, work related problems and workplace bullying. I work with adults and older adults in older lifestyle areas such as, retirement and health issues such as dementia.

My focus is client centred, and over the years I have learned a great deal about human behaviour with particular regards to depression and trauma. Leesha is a Counsellor and Psychotherapist specialising in women’s health, addiction, relationships, sexuality and work with young people. Leesha is a knowledgeable and empathetic counsellor who believes that connection and authenticity are essential elements in the therapeutic process. Leesha works in an integrative and holistic way to create a comfortable and safe environment where individuals and couples can explore effective ways to move through difficult times and challenges. Leesha provides opportunities for deep exploration of the root of old ideas which keep us stuck in patterns that no longer serve us.

Rebecca is a psychologist registered under the Australian Health Practitioner's Agency (AHPRA). Her qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and a Masters of Applied Psychology (Professional). Rebecca works with teens and adults from many walks of life who may come in with a wide range of difficulties. Whether you have seen a psychologist before or you are opening up for the first time, she wants to do her best by you.

Complex trauma at any age can make understanding ourselves, our reactions, painful emotions, and relationships mystifying. I'm registered with Blue Knot Foundation as a trauma informed therapist. If you have anxiety or depression symptoms, anger or hurt, I have been working beside people who want to manage and reduce these issues since the 20th century. I'll do my best to give you tools to use right from your first visit. If you are in a remote area I can provide sessions via Signal/Skype/Zoom. I know a lot about family and domestic violence and how people can come back from what happened to them or even what they did to others.

My field of expertise lies within counselling and psychotherapy. I am a psychoanalyst and clinical psychologist in Fremantle consulting with adults, adolescents and children presenting with a wide range of mental health issues. I teach at the Lacan Circle of Australia and have postgraduate training in clinical psychology and psychoanalytic studies. For over a decade I have worked in outpatient clinics, the community mental health sector and in private practice both in the USA and Australia. Additionally, I have an extensive research portfolio in psychoanalysis and clinical psychology.

Nez’s engaging and welcoming approach helps to put her clients at ease, and creates a safe space for them to open up and discuss any concerns. Nez provides unconditional support to her clients, guiding them to achieve insight about their concerns at their own desired pace. In this way, her client’s feel heard without judgement, and empowered to make changes in their own time and way. Nez is particularly skilled at helping her clients to improve communication, build trust, and deepen authentic relationship with self and others.

Finding the right psychologist can be a daunting task. How do you know if you have found the right one? Will you feel comfortable with them? Will they know how to treat you? I am a clinical psychology registrar, and although I have treated many people from different walks of life, no therapist can be a good fit for every client. As a risk-free option, if you have a GP psychology referral letter and you find that I am not a good fit for you during your first session, this session will be bulk-billed at no cost to you.
