I am passionate about assisting clients to understand the reasons behind their presenting issues, and help them develop strategies to manage those issues, so that they are better equipped to handle the various things that life can present. I work with children in the areas of school resistance, social skills, or bullying, as well as parenting strategies. I can assist older teenagers and young adults such issues as sexuality, abuse, difficulty with relationships, work related problems and workplace bullying. I work with adults and older adults in older lifestyle areas such as, retirement and health issues such as dementia.
I can assist with any emotional concerns such as self esteem and self confidence, anxieties, including separation anxiety and social anxiety, phobias including fear of flying, OCD, low mood, depression and suicidal ideation, grief and loss, PTSD, sexuality, abuse, addictions such as alcohol, smoking, gambling and anger management.
I take a non judgemental and holistic approach to your wellbeing, in a warm, empathetic manner in a comfortable and relaxed environment, as I believe it is important for you to feel safe enough to explore and express your feelings and help you find ways to manage your feelings more effectively and make the changes you want to make.
