Adolescents are developing and so are their emotions. Adolescents bring wonder, curiosity and energy. Yet their world is challenging, demanding and anxiety provoking as they navigate choices, dilemmas and obstacles. Families are part of this journey as they try and support and understand their developing teen. Silence, low mood and irritability often leave them confused and upset and parents struggling to know how to help. Anxiety can become a major challenge I support them to understand this journey called adolescence, focus on coping strategies and consult with parents so that the wish for happiness can become possible.

Family sessions. One to one adolescent sessions and parent consult sessions all form part of the work of adolescent therapy. The works is focused on problem solving, offering techniques to deal with presenting dilemmas and support both adolescents and parents to understanding their developing teen.
