I am passionate about working with adults, youth, children, and families. My goal is to support my clients in their unique journey of self-discovery and growth. By being collaborative with my clients, we can develop healthy coping skills for self-regulation and managing distress. I work with families to develop relationships, facilitate healthy communication and boundaries. I also assist parents/caregivers to adapt parenting styles that fit the unique needs of their child and allow them to understand the importance of communication that is responsive and developmentally appropriate.
My approach when working with clients involves compassion, empathy and understanding. This begins the process of forming a connection and facilitating a therapeutic alliance that promotes healing and change. Understanding my client’s personal experiences further supports the development of a therapeutic relationship.
