Erryn James is an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and the Founder of Nurtured Mothers Wellbeing. Erryn specialises in supporting those who identify as Women (16+) and Mothers (from preconception through to established parenting). Erryn adopts a warm, and nurturing environment where Mothers and Women feel empowered to explore their experiences. Erryn is experienced with working with clients with depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, emotional dysregulation difficulties and life adjustment difficulties. Erryn provides holistic assessment and evidence-based therapeutic intervention that is tailored to the individual.
Erryn’s practice is person-centered and grounded in attachment and relational theory to support secure attachment and relationships. Erryn uses a range of treatment modalities including Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT).
Erryn has capacity to accept new clients via face to face support in Ballarat or via Telehealth! Erryn is able to utilise Mental Health Care Plans and NDIS (self and plan managed).
