Hi! My name is Dominique. I grew up abroad and have engaged with people from all corners of life. I have a collaborative approach, listening to individuals process through their struggles, empowering change while developing strategies to implement change. We all have a need to share a story and I enjoy listening to stories providing an opportunity of a dynamic ending. Some of my areas of interest are life transitions, anxiety, trauma, coping skills, relationship issues, and stress.

Sometimes a sense of depression can be an alert to a spiritual emptiness or exhaustion that does not benefit from being pathologized or vilified as something "wrong" with you. It can signal an opportunity to release yourself from distractions and limitations that do not serve your deeply held values. If you want to explore your broken heart or disconnection in a holistic way, I invite you to begin the conversation to discover its deeper purpose. I tend to work from a psychodynamic approach, taking time to explore an individual's life experiences and assessing how those experiences have shaped current beliefs.

Hello! My name is Megan, and I am a counslor-in-training at Oregon City Counseling while pursuing my Masters in Clinical Social Work through Rutgers University. While in my undergrad, I played Division 1 basketball through Cal State Fullerton and Portland State University. Through that experience, I became passionate about athletes mental health and their transition out of their respective sports. Outside of session, you can find me working on my crochet project, reading a good book or attempting to bake or cook a new recipe. I currently have two cats who run my house and may grace telehealth sessions with their presence!

I offer telehealth appointments to clients in both OR and WA. I work in partnership with my clients to explore their concerns, build and strengthen ways of coping, and create positive changes. We all face challenges, transitions, changes, and growth and these can be exciting as well as emotionally difficult, intimidating or overwhelming. Your desire may be for a closer, stronger relationship, to restore and rebuild your marriage or family, or for help navigating a difficult crisis or transition. I offer support, experiential interactions, and opportunity to learn skills that will help you accomplish your goals.

Black Therapist & Company LLC was founded by Dr. Rosemarie Hemmings who has over 30 years of clinical social work experience and is also a public health practitioner. She identifies as Black and brings her lived experiences as a Black woman to all that she does. Her lived experiences and 30 years of expertise is reflected both in the service population that she prioritizes and her approach. When working with our clients, we take an intersectional approach that honors their lived experiences without judgment and we partner with our clients in co-developing services/goals in alignment with their personal values and cultural practices

I enjoy counseling with individuals or families to facilitate healthy relationships. I use Solution Focused/Strength Based and Cognitive Behavioral and draw from other theories to create the best course of counseling for each client.

Approved CSWA Supervisor. We live in an ever-changing world that can feel overwhelming at times. We often feel disconnected from our friends and family. Sometimes it can feel hard to re connect. We have become a society of people who struggle with feelings we were once unfamiliar with. Anxiety, depression, and worry. I have spent much of my career working with individuals in an inpatient setting and through community based clinical programs. I began to see a significant need available private practitioners who accepted insurance and had availability.

I provide a mind-body centered approach to mental health. Mind-body work restores joy, vitality, physical well being and intimacy with others by freeing up emotional blocks in a safe and supportive manner. Grief, depression, anxiety, stress, and couples conflict are also addressed. This approach is especially effective in releasing psychological traumas which underly physical symptoms. I have over twenty-five years of experience helping individuals, couples and teens to achieve healing. My background of study includes extensive work with many of the most highly regarded leaders in the field of mind-body psychology.

I am a direct, but compassionate therapist who aims to forge a therapeutic relationship built on trust and understanding.

Through a collaborative effort, I am here to help guide you in connecting the dots. And when need be, help bridge the gaps with resources and education to support your mental health goals. Often, people know what they "should" do, but don't or even can't. Together we will find solutions to get out of your own way- for a healthier and happier life.

My first priority is to listen,to understand your perspective and life experience. I will then work with you to help you gain insight into your current challenges. My goal is to address your problems directly, assist you in finding solutions, and get you back into your life as soon as possible.
