I am a Clinical Psychologist in part-time private practice in Krugersdorp, West Rand. I have undergone training that focused on systems theory. Hence, the focus of therapy is dealing with client's difficulties by addressing the interactional conflicts and stressors between the client, significant others and their environment. A general systems model holds that families are systems and that every action in a family produces a reaction in one or more of its members. However, I utilise a range of therapeutic modalities in order to suit the needs of clients.
My fields of Interest are as follows: Mood disorders (e.g. depression) and Anxiety disorders, Relationship problems, Personality Disorders, Anger Management, Bereavement, Trauma, Adjustment problems, Behavioural problems, Coping with illness, Substance related disorders, Stress management.
