I am a Clinical Psychologist registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and a professional mental health services provider registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF).I completed my clinical training at Fortnapier Hospital, a forensic hospital that is located in Napierville, Pietermaritzburg. My training also incorporated working at Town Hill Hospital as well as various community clinics. I completed my community services as a Clinical Psychologist at Edendale Hospital in Pietermaritzburg.
I am currently in private practice based in Pinetown and I offer individual, couples, and group psychotherapy that is tailored to the needs of the client/s. I also conduct comprehensive Psychological assessments for various purposed (medico-legal, grant application, etc.).
The aim is to provide a professional and effective service for each individual. Some key aims of psychotherapy are building insight, strengthening coping, and instilling hope.
