About
An unexpected event that led to trauma- Loss and grief- A sudden disinterest in activities that mattered- Major life changes crippling the decision making process- Or simply seeking effective ways to personal happiness? These are all normal life events that when steered correctly may transform the ways we think and live.
At the heart of my practice is to provide support and promote mental health in order to enhance happiness and well-being. This is achieved through offering confidential psychological services such as short-term supportive counselling, psychoeducation and psychological assessments.
I work from a systemic approach and believe that the client is the master of their own change and healing. I adopt a solution focused model which does not dismiss the reason for seeking counselling, but provides room for meaning making without affording the ‘problem’ enough power to rule over the individual.
