Hi my name is Thami and I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist based in South Africa. I have come to realise that most of the time, "people's feelings are influenced by their thoughts "( Aaron Beck). In order to achieve your goals, you need to work on the meaning you attach to different circumstances you find yourself in.
I did my Master of Social Science in Clinical Psychology with UKZN (Howard College) 12 years ago. I was trained in Psychodynamic and Cognitive Behaviout Therapy. The following are my areas of interest: Depression, Anxiety, Bereavement (Grief), Trauma, Personality disorders, relationships and Neuro-psycholocal assessments.
Our country is a beautiful and diverse country. However, it is characterised by marked traumatic experiences and grief (loss of someone through death).
