As a therapist, I believe in the integrity of the therapeutic environment. You entrust me, as your therapist with your most intimate life story. As such, the therapy space is one of authenticity and honesty. I believe that when you enter the therapeutic environment, your goal is to regain control over a situation, or to learn coping strategies to deal with situations that cannot be changed, such as in cases of bereavement and trauma. I facilitate your journey to recovery and emotional equilibrium by focusing on developing coping skills I also assist children who are not coping with academic work.
A person seeks professional support when you believe you do not have the capacity to find the answers to your life crisis. You may feel a sense of despair and emotional paralysis. My goal is to facilitate growth from this sense of 'stuckness'. I find it rewarding working with young adults, couples adolescents and children. See areas of specialisation below
Through my years of experience and my deep passion for my profession, I have facilitated the healing and personal growth of many individuals. Within each of us, is an innate survival instinct that drives us towards the journey of healing. I see myself as an instrument through which a client embarks on this journey to find themselves.
