I am a social worker in private practice based in Gqeberha, my areas of expertise are bereavement, behavioral problems and emotional disturbance. I offer counselling and coaching services to adults and teenagers; I am very zealous about working with teenagers and journeying with them as they work on adjusting their behavioral challenges.
My personal experience with teenage pregnancies, behavioral problems, bereavement at a young age has put me in a position of not only being able to understand what the teenagers are going through theoretically but also enables me to relate to their challenges. Furthermore, I have experience with being a support system for people with mental health disorders.
In summary, my personal and professional experiences have qualified me as a perfect candidate to walk alongside my clients dealing with the above-mentioned challenges. The types of therapy that I use in my interventions are strength based, family systems, person centered and compassion focused therapy.
