I predominantly work from a person-centered approach, to ensure that clients feel safe enough to be and become their authentic selves. This approach allows me to integrate my therapy with various modalities, depending on the client's unique needs. I have a keen passion for psychopathology on all levels of severity; with the goal to optimize functioning while maintain integrity & identity.
I do this with the aim to offer a space of warmth, unconditional acceptance, positive regard; and most importantly a space where the client and I can come to a mutual understanding on the presenting problem.
In saying this, for me it is important for each client to know that I value the integrity and opinion of each individual that walks into my office. The goal here is not only to heal, but with healing is to also grow, understand, and be one's authentic self.
