I strive to create a warm and comfortable environment in which you can feel accepted & free to express your deepest feelings, thoughts and fears. Through narrative therapy, in which you tell me your life story, I help you become the hero, and survivor instead of the victim. My goal is to uncover opportunities for growth and development, find meaning, and for you to understand yourself better. The aim is to separate the individual from the problem, allowing you to externalize your issues rather than internalize them. As counsellor I provide vital support as you make your way through this journey of self-actualization and growth.
I use narrative therapy & specialize in helping teenagers & children deal with anxiety, depression & setting healthy boundaries. It is respectful, non-blaming & views the client as the expert, making a distinction between “an individual with problems” and a “problematic individual". The goal is is to help you find your own voice and tell your own story.
I myself have 6 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Besides my studies, I have tons of life experience. I have made many mistakes and experienced my own share of trauma.
