I am a registered Counselling Psychologist with experience in helping clients with a variety of serious and daily mental health struggles. As an Integrative based Psychologist, I look forward to meeting my clients where they are at and assist in fostering a better connection with him/herself, relationships with others; and most importantly, to understand the dynamics with self and others. I am registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and my practice is registered with the Board of Healthcare Funders (BHF). Recently, I obtained certification and accreditation as a BrainWorking Recursive Therapy (BWRT).
My training over the years has included working in disadvantaged communities and with a diverse range of clients with different presenting problems such as trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and adjustment difficulties in different scales, involving children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. I have found interest in Psychoeducational Assessments.
Many of us feel lost, stuck, unhappy, afraid, overwhelmed or lonely. As the stigma around mental health is breaking down, more people are finding space to work on their mental health in order to live a more fulfilling life. I aim to offer a supportive space that can allow the client time and patience needed to better understand him/herself and concerns.
